About Wi-Mi

Wide Minds will find eco virtual STEAM solutions towards climate change!

Wi-Mi wants to promote virtual cooperation, collaboration, and communication culture amongst students, teachers, schools, associations, and further multipliers to fight against climate change and strengthen the profiles of these entities. Additionally, Wi-Mi will produce blended/hybrid learning, teaching and training materials and digital tools to develop a STEAM, digital and Green environment to enhance best practices in climate change area. With the improved digital tools, OERs and Community Science Projects (developed by students) Wi-Mi wants to make schools aware of what it takes to improve their digital citizenship and ecosystems even within the limits of each local situation to take actions towards climate change.

General Objectives

  1. To fight against climate change through STEAM and CSP approach;  
  2. To promote virtual cooperation, collaboration, and communication culture amongst students, teachers, schools, associations, and further multipliers;
  3. To engage students in scientific practices such as conducting research, classifying, measuring, predicting, systems thinking, and critical thinking while building knowledge of climate change;
  4. To produce blended/hybrid learning teaching and training materials and digital tools;
  5. To make schools aware of what it takes to improve their digital citizenship and ecosystems;
  6. To lead students to identify the effects of climate change in their neighbourhoods, cities, and countries;
  7. To help students build and apply 21st-century skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, making predictions, collecting and analysing data, drawing conclusions from evidence, and sharing and communicating information;
  8. To lead the communities to take actions towards climate change and have a positive impact, using STEAM and CSP to address the issue;
  9. To increase digital transformation, readiness and resilience to create a digital education ecosystem inside the associations
